I like the premise of the game, but there's too many design issues that hinder my enjoyment of this game.
First off, the perspective is way too close. I can't see anything that's coming up because I'm jammed right next to my character.
Secondly, the visuals are crowded. This is where you should take a note from Solipskier and try to use easily identifiable color schemes. If it's fast paced, we need information at nothing more than a glance.
Lastly, the paintbrush is stuck on a single vertical line. Why can't I move it around the screen? I felt a severe disconnect controlling my character because of this. I can't prepare for anything by moving the brush forward. Remember, a computer mouse runs on a plane. If your game relies on the mouse, you need to consider this.
In the end, I'll give it a six and a two. I couldn't bring myself to enjoy it.
Yeah, it had a few inconsistencies, but the art style was damn near perfect, and the jokes are SO TRUE of Minecraft. I can't tell you how many times I've jumped into a minecart to GTFO when I see skeletons and spiders coming my way. I've played the game for years, so I'm happy it can get even more publicity on my favorite Flash site.
I'm afraid to say players can't hop on one another as minecarts, but maybe this feature will be implemented some time. It's sure to be a hit.
You know, I don't demand anything from Egoraptor. If he wants to make a flash of a floppy dick complaining about the stock market, fine by me.
What I'm not liking is the seemingly instant jump this made for the front page. Did it *really* need to be featured at all, much less in the ZOMGSUPERFEATURE box? it was a quick animation of two Transformers arguing. I don't blame Egoraptor, but the whole thing comes off as a little desperate.
And that hardly makes sense at all. Newgrounds has many new faces to keep front page material the best of the best. There's no need to announce every animation done by a popular old animator unless it's really front page quality.
You know, I'm split. On one hand, I can tell that a lot of time was put into animating this, and the story was, er, interesting.
On the other hand, it seems the goal was to BE AS RANDOM AS POSSIBLE LOL, but was a huge disappointment. Don't get me wrong, some of the jokes made me laugh, but most of the content made me cringe. It seemed like the type of humor better suited for 12 year olds.
Also, the narrator was annoying as hell. His voice wasn't funny at all. I'll give you a 7 and a 3.
The way the music not only follows the action, but the movement of the scene is just stellar. I've been listening to a bunch of swing lately, so this is a real treat in that department.
You know, I'll have to come back in a day or two to figure out why I like this Flash so much, but I'll give it a ten, a five, and a spot on my favorites list.
GIven you only had 48 hours to whip this up, I really like the effort put in. The concept of a jetpack that is integral to both jumping and saving the plants was a neat idea. The final tree had me RAEG until I figured out how to keep a little bit of water in the pack.
All in all, it was very short, but pretty enjoyable. You get an eight and four from me.

Passion.
This is the fourth day in a row I've watched this loop. This is the fourth day I've become nauseous at the sight of yogurt.
Five for the great loop, nine because you lose a point for corrupting my innocence.

OH GOD I WAS GOING SO FAST
I just love this game. The fact that high speeds can be detrimental but incredibly addicting probably says something about my nature.
But I don't want to be a psychologist. I want to SKI FOREVER AND ROCK HARD. 5/5 and 10/10!

No boner for me. :(
Ah, now this just needs a game to go along with it. SkiFree in Space, anybody?
Oh, *ahem*. As a Flash, this is pretty pointless. In fact, I'm surprised this wasn't actually blammed. I'll give you a 4 and a 2.

Yay!
I can see the adjustments that need to be made and the things that should be tuned, but this is wonderful to have.
Thanks!
